These include how the U.S. Attorney’s Office makes charging decisions, resolving competing interests with a joint defense group, how to properly exit a joint defense agreement if your client decides to plead, severance considerations, trial stipulations, and how to sequence sentencing hearings. It will also discuss whether the District of Massachusetts should have a related case rule relating to judicial assignment of cases.
